Reading: The Bucolic Plague

To further obsess about living off the land, cooking and gardening, I picked up this book at the library and loved it. It's the story of a successful gay couple in New York who find a dream mansion and farm and decide to buy it. It is very honest, depicting the ups and downs of farm life and starting a business, as well as the trials it puts their relationship through. The author also works in advertising, which made it extra interesting to me. Finally, it was just laugh-out-loud funny. Imagine your favorite gay friends milking goats and the witty comments you know they would come up with!
