It will be very hard to top this past Memorial Day - it was plain awesome!
(More pics to come too!)
- Road trip!
- Running around town - visiting Stockton High and a gem of an antiques store. I picked up some prints of old black-and-white photos from around Stockton, and J found a cool old German zoo print poster.
- Parade and WWII interview at the Nova Theater, starring Grandpa Dale

- Great-Grandma Lavern's 96th birthday party. What a lady - she still lives on her own and is in relatively good health. And still sharp as ever!
- Danielle Berland's law school graduation party. It was so fun to see all the old friends, and kind of strange that everyone is married, into their careers and babies running around!
- Visit to Survey Cemetery - a country cemetery that is the final home of many of my ancestors
- Day at the cabin with jet skis, boats, beer and perfect weather - John even did some skiing
- Delicious cookout with wonderful friends. Is there really anything like mom's cooking??
It could be because it's such a treat to come home, but Stockton is pretty hard to top. Several friends have began moving back and I have to say, it makes me a little jealous!
On top of it all, it is officially SUMMER! Here's to hoping for a great one!
