Had another fantastic weekend at home! It's been great being back so soon, and for such a fun occasion.

Home sweet home. Love being back during harvest.

After a relaxing day of lunch with the family and golf, we got ready for the Meece Party. So here is the story:

Back in the 60s and 70s, my grandparents (Dale and Neva) and their friends were part of the Meece Club. Grandpa can't remember where the name came from, but they threw great theme parties, rotating who hosted. Now these parties weren't just cocktail get togethers, they were a blast and they went all out. Now it's years later, and Jonathon Berkley and Jackie and Marilyn Springer decided we should all get back together. So all the kids and grandkids of the original Meeces were back together again! We had a western theme and Grandpa was the guest of honor. We drank plenty (a lot really), watched slideshow of the old parties with champagne, and just all around had a great time.
Princess Sally was Grandpa's ride to the party.

We all got copies of the awesome pictures from the original Meece Club - here are some of my faves:

How fun does my Grandma look!? I must come by it naturally :)

Now it's our turn to carry on the tradition!
