Just finished reading Water for Elephants, right before the movie comes out this weekend. While I did like it, I think I was overtaken with the characters as their actors - Rob Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon - that I didn't feel as emotionally connected to it. A bit melodramatic, but detailed, exciting and sad. Glad I checked it out - but now I HAVE to see Reese perform the elephant act!
